Rescue Greyhounds
As some of you may know, my wife and I are great fans of greyhounds. We have a rescue greyhound called Jewel who retired from greyhound racing 4yrs ago.
I don’t think that she was treated very well by her owners after she was no longer racing but a greyhound and lurcher rescue centre took her in and nursed her back to health.
We’ve had her for almost for years and they make such lovely pets. They are such gentle dogs and very affectionate.
Greyhounds don’t need as much exercise as some people seem to think and are happy to have two 20 minute walks a day at our local park here in Salisbury.
